Support to EDP, S3 governance and interregional collaboration
The Targeted Assignment for the regions of Jämtland Härjedalen and Västernorrland aims to address challenges that hinder the spread of innovation, primarily due to gaps in stakeholder engagement in the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP) and complexities in multi-level governance. This unique joint assignment, addressing both regions simultaneously, seeks to overcome these challenges by organizing a series of participatory workshops designed to strengthen the EDP, enhance stakeholder awareness of available opportunities, and support the effective advancement of Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3). Through focused workshops and collaboration with the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform, the assignment delivers tailored recommendations to improve governance structures, increase stakeholder involvement, and create pathways for interregional collaboration.
